Saturday: With Our Lady in Hope, Morning Prayer

✠ In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Verse: My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour. (Luke 1:46–47)

Lord God, who chose the Blessed Virgin Mary to be the Mother of Your Son, grant that I may begin this day in purity, trust, and hope.

As the Church waits in joyful expectation for the Lord’s Day, prepare my heart for Sunday Mass. Cleanse me from all that is careless, distracted, or cold in Your service.

Bless our homes and families, especially the children and young people of our parishes. Keep them safe in body and soul.

Our Lady, Queen of Heaven, prepare our hearts for the Lord’s Day and keep us under thy mantle.

Our Father… Hail Mary… Glory be…

May the Lord bless us, preserve us from all evil, and bring us to everlasting life. Amen.

Verse: Let all that you do be done in love. (1 Corinthians 16:14)

Lord God, I thank You for the week now ending and for every grace, hidden or seen, that You have bestowed upon me.

Prepare me for the Lord’s Day. Give me recollection of mind, purity of heart, and eagerness for the holy sacrifice of the Mass.

Keep watch over our parish families this night, and grant that we may rise tomorrow ready to worship You with joy and reverence.
