Sunday: The Lord’s Day, Morning Prayer

✠ In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Verse: This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24)

Heavenly Father, on this holy day I adore You and give You thanks for the Resurrection of Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.

Grant that this Lord’s Day may be kept in joy, recollection, and charity. Bless our parishes of St Mary, St John Bosco, and St Edward. Gather us faithfully to the altar, and make us one in the worship of Your holy Name.

Give me a heart ready for prayer, attentive at Mass, patient with others, and grateful for all Your gifts.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us and gather our parish family more closely to Your Son.

Our Father… Hail Mary… Glory be…

May the Lord bless us, preserve us from all evil, and bring us to everlasting life. Amen.

Sunday: The Lord’s Day, Evening Prayer

✠ In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Verse: Stay with us, Lord, for it is towards evening and the day is now far spent. (Luke 24:29)

Lord Jesus Christ, I thank You for the grace of this Sunday, for Your holy Word, and for the gift of the Mass.

Forgive whatever in me has been distracted, lukewarm, or ungrateful. Seal in my heart the graces received this day, and make them fruitful in the week ahead.

Bless our parish family. Strengthen those who are joyful, console those who are grieving, and draw back those who are far from You.
