Wednesday: With St. Joseph and Our Lady in Hidden Fidelity, Morning Prayer
✠ In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Verse: Blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfilment of what was spoken to her from the Lord. (Luke 1:45)
Father most holy, sanctify this day and all that it holds. Teach me to do Your will with simplicity and trust.
In the hidden life of Nazareth You prepared the Redeemer of the world. Grant that my hidden duties may likewise be pleasing in Your sight.
Bless the sick, the lonely, the anxious, and those weighed down by sorrow. Grant them patience, relief, and the comfort of Your presence.
Holy Mary and St Joseph, teach us hidden faithfulness in the common things of each day.
Our Father… Hail Mary… Glory be…
May the Lord bless us, preserve us from all evil, and bring us to everlasting life. Amen.
Wednesday: With St. Joseph and Our Lady in Hidden Fidelity, Evening Prayer
✠ In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Verse: Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. (Galatians 6:2)
Lord of compassion, I thank You for all whom You have given me to love and serve.
Remember this night my family, friends, parishioners, benefactors, and all who have asked my prayers. Bless also those who find this night hard: the sick, the lonely, the dying, and the bereaved.
Grant that our parishes may be places of peace, welcome, and faithful friendship in Christ.
Holy Mary and St Joseph, teach us hidden faithfulness in the common things of each day.
Our Father… Hail Mary… Glory be…
May the Lord bless us, preserve us from all evil, and bring us to everlasting life. Amen.
