We have heard the sentence so often that we have perhaps ceased to notice its extravagance.
Christ places the entire world on one side of the scale.
Every empire. Every pleasure. Every fortune. Every human honour.
Everything that people have killed to possess.
And on the other side: one immortal soul. The soul outweighs the world.
From October 1st, St Mary’s will host Thursday evenings from 7-8pm, featuring prayer, worship, formation, and fellowship for the parish community. Activities include devotions, catechesis, discussions, social events, and seasonal celebrations. Everyone is welcome to come along.
