Everything we have is a gift from God. Giving to the Church is one way of thanking Him and helping the parish continue its worship, pastoral care and mission.
St Mary’s, St John Bosco and St Edward’s depend upon the regular generosity of parishioners and friends. Every gift, large or small, is gratefully received.

What your donation supports
Your giving helps us to provide:
- the celebration of Mass and the sacraments;
- heating, lighting, insurance and church maintenance;
- faith formation and sacramental preparation;
- pastoral care for the sick, housebound and bereaved;
- parish activities, resources and outreach;
- the continuing mission of the Church in our communities.

Cash donations may be placed in the collection during Mass.
If you use planned-giving envelopes, please place your envelope in the collection in the usual way.

Regular standing orders are especially helpful because they allow the parish to plan responsibly.

Gift Aid
If you are a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid may allow the parish to claim an additional 25p for every £1 you give, at no extra cost to you.
To qualify, you must have paid enough UK Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax to cover the Gift Aid claimed on all your charitable donations.
You will need to complete a Gift Aid declaration. Please contact the Parish Office if you would like a form, need help or want to check whether an existing declaration is still current.
