FROM THE PARISH PRIEST
As we approach the final days of Lent, the veiling of statues and crosses marks a deepening of the Church’s focus on the Passion. What is hidden from our sight invites us to turn more fully to the mystery of the Cross, where Christ accomplishes our salvation. This outward sign reminds us that we walk by faith, not by sight, especially in times when God may seem distant. Our own crosses, often borne in silence, are united with His in this sacred season. With hearts prepared and watchful, we await the moment when all is revealed again in the light of the Resurrection.
