FROM THE PARISH PRIEST
Dear brothers and sisters, as we continue through the Easter Octave, my family and I want to thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayerful support throughout Lent, Holy Week and into Easter. The Church keeps these eight days as one great day of rejoicing, as though Easter Sunday is so full of glory that a single day is not enough. Each day of the Octave is celebrated as Easter Day, because the Resurrection of Christ is not a small event to be remembered quickly, but the turning point of the world. The beauty and reverence of our liturgies were helped greatly by so many quiet acts of service, and I am deeply grateful for all that was given. In these days, as the Church continues to sing her Alleluia and stand in the light of the empty tomb, may the joy of the Risen Christ remain in your homes and hearts, and may He reward your kindness with His peace.
