Priest:
Brothers and sisters, as we hear again the call of Christ, who invites us to repent and follow Him,
let us bring our prayers before the Father with faith and trust.

For the Church throughout the world:
that, walking in the light of Christ, she may faithfully proclaim the Gospel,
call all people to conversion of heart, and be a sign of unity in a divided world.
Lord, hear us.

For all who have been baptised into Christ:
that we may respond generously to His call, leaving behind whatever holds us back,
and following Him with renewed faith, courage, and commitment.
Lord, hear us.

For those living in darkness —
the poor, the forgotten, the lonely, and all who feel lost or burdened by sin or suffering:
that the light of Christ may reach them through compassion, justice, and hope.
Lord, hear us.

For unity within the Church:
that divisions, rivalry, and pride may give way to humility, reconciliation, and love,
so that all may belong more deeply to Christ alone.
Lord, hear us.

For this parish community:
that Ordinary Time may be a season of real discipleship, helping us to listen attentively to the Lord,
to grow in prayer and charity, and to witness to the Gospel in daily life.
Lord, hear us.

For those discerning their vocation in life:
that they may recognise the voice of Christ calling them, and respond with trust and generosity
to the path God has prepared for them.
Lord, hear us.

For the sick, the suffering, and the dying:
that the light of Christ may strengthen them, and that they may know the closeness of God’s love and care.
Lord, hear us.

For the faithful departed:
that all who have followed Christ in this life may share fully in the light of His eternal kingdom.
Lord, hear us.

Let us now pause and offer in silence the prayers of our own hearts.

(Silent prayer)

Let us bring our prayers to the attention of Our Lady: Hail Mary

Priest:
Heavenly Father, you have called us out of darkness into your marvellous light.
Hear the prayers we make in faith,
and grant them according to your will,
through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
