Children’s Track – Just Teach Sheet
January Week 1 (2026)
Theme: Baptism and New Life in Christ
Focus: God Calls Us His Children
Audience: Children (Ages 7+, First Holy Communion preparation or general faith formation)
Weekly Goal
To help the child understand that God made them, knows them, loves them, and calls them His child.
This week lays the foundation for Baptism by teaching identity before ritual: who we belong to comes before what we do.

Apologetics for Parents
Why start with being God’s child before talking about Baptism?
Because Baptism makes sense only when a child knows who God is and who they belong to.
Is everyone God’s child?
God created everyone, but Baptism makes us His children in a new and special way.
Does this mean children must be perfect?
No. God’s children grow, learn, and are forgiven.
