MONDAY 2 MARCH – God Is Kind and Forgives
Being Merciful
Opening Prayer
God our Father,
thank You for loving us
and forgiving us.
Amen.
Teaching
Daniel prayed to God and said sorry for his people.
He knew they had done wrong,
but he also knew God is kind and forgiving.
Jesus teaches us to be kind to others
because God is kind to us.
When we forgive,
we are acting like God.
Scripture
“Be kind and merciful.” (Luke 6:36)
Ask your child
When do we need to forgive?
Who can we be kind to today?
Little Practice
Say one kind thing to someone today.

TUESDAY 3 MARCH – Loving God with Our Lives
Not Just Words
Opening Prayer
God our Father,
help us love You
with what we do.
Amen.
Teaching
God’s people prayed and went to the Temple,
but they were not being kind or fair.
God said He wanted them
to do good
and help others.
Jesus teaches us that loving God
means loving people too.
Scripture
“Learn to do good.” (Isaiah 1:17)

WEDNESDAY 4 MARCH – Serving Like Jesus
Being Helpful
Opening Prayer
Jesus,
help us serve others
like You do.
Amen.
Teaching
Jeremiah did what God asked,
even when people were unkind to him.
Jesus says that being great
means helping and serving others.
We are most like Jesus
when we help without showing off.
Scripture
“Whoever wants to be first must serve.” (Matthew 20:27)

THURSDAY 5 MARCH – Trusting God
God Takes Care of Us
Opening Prayer
God our Father,
help us trust You
every day.
Amen.

God says that people who trust Him
are like trees with strong roots.
When hard times come,
they do not fall down
because God helps them.
Trusting God means
believing He will look after us.
Scripture
“Blessed are those who trust in the Lord.” (Jeremiah 17:7)

FRIDAY 6 MARCH – Saying Yes to God
Listening to God
Opening Prayer
Jesus,
help us listen
when You speak.

Teaching
Joseph’s brothers did not listen to God
and were unkind to him.
Jesus tells a story about people
who did not listen to God’s Son.
God wants us to listen to Him
and follow His ways.

“Listen to him.” (Matthew 17:5)

SATURDAY 7 MARCH – God Always Welcomes Us Back
Coming Home

God our Father,
thank You for loving us
and waiting for us.

Teaching
Jesus tells a story about a son
who ran away
and then came home again.
His father was happy to see him
and forgave him.
God is like that father.
He is always ready
to forgive us
and love us again.
Scripture
“God is kind and forgiving.” (Micah 7:18)

SUNDAY 8 MARCH – Third Sunday of Lent
Jesus Gives Us Living Water
Opening Prayer
Jesus,
thank You for loving us
and caring for us.
Amen.
Teaching
The people were thirsty in the desert
and God gave them water.
Jesus met a woman at a well
and told her He could give her
“living water.”
Living water means God’s love
that fills our hearts
and helps us live well.
Scripture
“Jesus gives us living water.” (John 4:14)

What makes you happy inside?
Who gives us God’s love?

Say today: “Jesus, fill my heart with Your love.”
