MONDAY 23 FEBRUARY – Loving Others Like Jesus

Jesus Is in Other People

Opening Prayer
Jesus,
help us love others
like You do.
Amen.

Teaching
Jesus says that when we help others,
we are helping Him.

When we feed the hungry
or are kind to someone lonely,
we are loving Jesus.

God is happy
when we love people
the way He loves us.

Scripture
“Whatever you did for one of these, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:40)

Ask your child
Who can we help today?
How can we show love?

Little Practice
Do one kind thing for someone today.

Closing Prayer
Jesus,
help me love You
by loving others.

TUESDAY 24 FEBRUARY – God’s Word Changes Us

Listening to God

Opening Prayer
God our Father,
help us listen
when You speak.
Amen.

Teaching
God’s word is like rain for the ground.
It helps things grow.

When we hear God’s word
and try to live it,
our hearts grow kinder and stronger.

God speaks
so we can change
and love better.

Scripture
“Your word is a light for my path.” (Psalm 119:105)

Ask your child
Where do we hear God’s word?
How can we listen better?

Listen carefully to someone today.

WEDNESDAY 25 FEBRUARY – Turning Back to God

Saying Sorry and Starting Again

Opening Prayer
Jesus,
thank You for forgiving us
and helping us start again.
Amen.

Teaching
God sent Jonah to tell people
to change their ways.

They listened
and said sorry to God.

God was happy
because they wanted to be good again.

God always welcomes us back
when we say sorry.

Scripture
“God forgave them.” (Jonah 3:10)

Ask your child
When do we need to say sorry?
Who helps us do better?

Say sorry to God for one thing today.

THURSDAY 26 FEBRUARY – Asking God for Help

God Listens to Us

God our Father,
thank You for loving us
and listening to us.

Queen Esther was afraid,
but she prayed to God for help.

Jesus tells us to ask God
for what we need.

God is like a good Father
who cares about His children.

Scripture
“Ask and it will be given to you.” (Matthew 7:7)

What can we ask God for?

FRIDAY 27 FEBRUARY – Choosing to Love

Being Friends Again

Jesus,
help us love
and forgive.

Jesus teaches us
not to stay angry
or mean.

He wants us
to make peace
and be friends again.

God is happy
when we forgive.

“Love one another.” (John 13:34)

SATURDAY 28 FEBRUARY – Loving Everyone

Even When It Is Hard

as You love us.

Jesus says we should love everyone,
even people who are unkind to us.

God loves all people
and wants us
to be like Him.

Loving others
shows that we belong to God.

Listening to Jesus

Jesus went up a mountain
and His friends saw how special He was.

God the Father said,
“Listen to Him.”

Jesus helps us know
how to love God
and love others.

Scripture
“This is my Son… listen to him.” (Matthew 17:5)
