TEEN DAILY FAITH
Week of 16–22 February
How to use this:
Spend 5–10 minutes a day.
Read slowly.
Answer one question honestly.
End with the short prayer.
MONDAY 16 FEBRUARY – Faith That Does Not Demand Proof
Trust Without Forcing God
Reflection
Some people asked Jesus for a sign.
They wanted proof before they would trust Him.
But faith is not about forcing God to show Himself.
It is about choosing to believe His word.
If God had to prove Himself every time,
faith would become a test instead of a relationship.
Real faith means trusting even when we do not see everything clearly.
Scripture
“Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe.” (John 20:29)
Think about it
When do I want proof instead of trust?
What makes faith difficult for me?
Action
Say today: “Jesus, I trust You,”
even if you feel unsure.
Prayer
Lord,
teach me to trust You
without demanding signs.
Amen.
TUESDAY 17 FEBRUARY – The Seven Holy Founders
Holiness Is Not a Solo Project
Reflection
Seven men left their old lives
and chose to follow Christ together.
They did not become holy by standing out.
They became holy by standing together.
Faith is personal,
but it is never meant to be private.
God often helps us grow
through other people.
Scripture
“Where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there.” (Matthew 18:20)
Think about it
Who helps me live my faith?
Do I help anyone else grow closer to God?
Action
Encourage someone today in their faith
or in doing good.
Prayer
Lord,
thank You for giving me people
to walk with in faith.
Amen.
WEDNESDAY 18 FEBRUARY – Ash Wednesday
Starting Again
Reflection
Ashes remind us that we are not perfect
and that we need God’s mercy.
Lent is not about feeling guilty.
It is about coming back to God.
To repent means to turn around.
It means choosing a new direction.
God does not wait for us to be better
before He loves us.
He waits for us to come back.
Scripture
“Return to me with all your heart.” (Joel 2:12)
Think about it
What do I need to change this Lent?
What pulls me away from God?
Action
Choose one thing to work on this Lent
(prayer, kindness, or self-control).
Prayer
Lord,
help me turn back to You
with my whole heart.
Amen.
THURSDAY 19 FEBRUARY – Thursday after Ash Wednesday
Choosing Life
Reflection
God gives us real freedom.
We can choose good
or we can choose wrong.
Jesus says that following Him
means sometimes saying no to ourselves.
Freedom is not doing whatever we want.
It is choosing what leads to life.
Scripture
“I have set before you life and death… choose life.” (Deuteronomy 30:19)
Think about it
What choices shape my life most right now?
Which choices bring me closer to God?
Action
Make one good choice today
that costs you something.
Prayer
Jesus,
help me choose
what leads to life.
Amen.
FRIDAY 20 FEBRUARY – Friday after Ash Wednesday
Fasting That Changes the Heart
Reflection
God does not want religion that is just on the outside.
He wants hearts that care for others.
Giving something up only matters
if it helps us love more.
Real fasting teaches us
that we do not live only for ourselves.
Scripture
“Is not this the fast that I choose: to share your bread with the hungry?” (Isaiah 58:6–7)
Think about it
What do I usually focus on most: myself or others?
How could I be more generous?
Action
Do one generous thing today
without telling anyone.
Prayer
Lord,
teach me to love
with actions, not just words.
Amen.
SATURDAY 21 FEBRUARY – Saturday after Ash Wednesday
Getting Up and Following
Reflection
Jesus calls Levi, a man with a bad reputation.
Levi gets up and follows Him immediately.
Jesus does not wait for Levi to be perfect.
He calls him first,
and his life changes after.
Following Jesus always means movement.
Not excuses.
Not delay.
Scripture
“Follow me.” (Luke 5:27)
Think about it
What is Jesus asking me to leave behind?
What does following Him look like for me?
Action
Take one small step today
to follow Jesus more closely.
Prayer
Jesus,
give me the courage
to follow You.
Amen.
SUNDAY 22 FEBRUARY – First Sunday of Lent
Jesus Chooses the Father
Reflection
Jesus is tempted in the desert
to use His power for Himself,
to test God,
and to choose success instead of obedience.
Each time, Jesus chooses the Father.
Lent is not about proving how strong we are.
It is about learning how to choose like Jesus.
We face temptations too:
comfort instead of truth,
popularity instead of faithfulness,
control instead of trust.
Scripture
“You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.” (Matthew 4:10)
Think about it
What tempts me most right now?
How can I choose God in that place?
Action
Say today:
“Jesus, help me choose the Father.”
Prayer
Lord,
teach me to choose You
when it is hard.
Amen.
