Weekly Faith Formation – Teens – 2-8 March

TEEN DAILY FAITH

Week of 2–8 March

How to use this:
Spend 5–10 minutes a day.
Read slowly.
Answer one question honestly.
End with the short prayer.

MONDAY 2 MARCH – God Is Kind and Forgives

Mercy Instead of Blame

Reflection
Daniel admits that his people have done wrong,
but he also trusts that God is kind and forgiving.

Faith is not pretending we are perfect.
It is telling the truth about ourselves
and trusting God’s mercy more than our mistakes.

God does not want to shame us.
He wants to heal us.

Scripture
“Yours, Lord, is kindness and forgiveness.” (Daniel 9:9)

Think about it
What do I find hardest to admit?
Do I believe God really forgives me?

Action
Say sorry to God today in your own words.

Prayer
Lord,
thank You for Your mercy
when I fall short.
Amen.

TUESDAY 3 MARCH – Loving God with Our Lives

More Than Words

Reflection
God tells His people that He does not want empty prayers.
He wants changed lives.

Worship without justice becomes noise.
Faith without love becomes pretend.

God is not impressed by appearances.
He looks for hearts that care about others.

Scripture
“Learn to do good; seek justice.” (Isaiah 1:17)

Think about it
Do my actions match what I say I believe?
Who might need my care today?

Action
Do one quiet act of kindness today.

Prayer
Lord,
help me love You
by loving others.
Amen.

WEDNESDAY 4 MARCH – Serving Like Jesus

Greatness Looks Like Service

Reflection
Jeremiah stayed faithful
even when people rejected him.

Jesus says that being important
means serving, not ruling.

The world tells us to stand out.
Jesus tells us to kneel down and help.

True greatness is not being noticed.
It is being faithful.

Scripture
“Whoever wants to be first must be servant of all.” (Matthew 20:27)

Think about it
Who do I usually try to impress?
Who do I avoid serving?

Action
Help someone today without telling anyone.

Prayer
Jesus,
teach me to serve
like You.
Amen.

THURSDAY 5 MARCH – Trusting God

Roots That Hold in Storms

Reflection
God says the person who trusts Him
is like a tree with deep roots.

Storms still come,
but the tree does not fall.

Trust does not mean nothing goes wrong.
It means we are not alone when it does.

Faith grows deeper when we rely on God
instead of only on ourselves.

Scripture
“Blessed are those who trust in the Lord.” (Jeremiah 17:7)

Think about it
What worries me most right now?
Where do I usually look for security?

Action
Say today: “God, I trust You with this.”

Prayer
Lord,
teach me to trust You
when life feels unsteady.
Amen.

FRIDAY 6 MARCH – Saying Yes to God

Listening or Resisting

Reflection
Joseph’s brothers ignored what God was doing
and chose jealousy instead.

Jesus tells a story about tenants
who refused to listen to the owner’s son.

God speaks,
but we do not always want to hear.

Listening to God means being ready to change,
not just to understand.

Scripture
“They refused to listen.” (Matthew 21:33–43)

Think about it
Where do I resist God’s word?
What is God asking me to change?

Action
Read one Gospel verse today and think about it.

Prayer
Lord,
help me listen
and not turn away.
Amen.

SATURDAY 7 MARCH – God Always Welcomes Us Back

Home Again

Reflection
The son in Jesus’ story leaves home,
wastes everything,
and expects rejection.

Instead, he is welcomed back with joy.

This is how God treats sinners:
not with cold justice
but with mercy.

Conversion is not about proving ourselves.
It is about trusting love.

Scripture
“He was lost and is found.” (Luke 15:24)

Think about it
What makes it hard for me to come back to God?
Do I believe He really wants me back?

Action
Come back to God today with a simple prayer.

Prayer
Father,
thank You for waiting for me.
Amen.

SUNDAY 8 MARCH – Third Sunday of Lent

Thirst for Something More

Reflection
The Israelites wanted water in the desert.
The Samaritan woman wanted meaning in her life.

Jesus offers more than survival.
He offers living water.

We look for satisfaction in many places:
success, popularity, comfort.

Only God can fill the deepest thirst.

Scripture
“Whoever drinks the water I give will never thirst.” (John 4:14)

Think about it
What do I usually look to for happiness?
What would it mean to trust Jesus with that desire?

Action
Say today: “Jesus, give me Your living water.”

Prayer
Lord,
fill the empty places in me
with Your life.
Amen.
