TEEN DAILY FAITH
Week of 23 February – 1 March
How to use this:
Spend 5–10 minutes a day.
Read slowly.
Answer one question honestly.
End with the short prayer.
MONDAY 23 FEBRUARY – Loving Others Like Jesus
Meeting Christ in Other People
Reflection
Jesus says something surprising:
when we help others, we are really helping Him.
This means faith is not only about prayer and church.
It is also about how we treat people.
Christ hides Himself in the poor, the lonely, and the weak
so that love is never just an idea.
To ignore people in need
is to ignore Christ Himself.
Scripture
“Whatever you did for one of these, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:40)
Think about it
Who do I usually overlook?
How might Jesus be present in them?
Action
Do one hidden act of kindness today.
Prayer
Jesus,
teach me to recognise You
in other people.
Amen.
TUESDAY 24 FEBRUARY – God’s Word Changes Us
Letting the Word Work
Reflection
God’s word is not just information.
It is meant to change us.
The Bible compares God’s word to rain
that makes the earth grow.
If we hear it but do nothing,
our hearts stay dry.
Real listening always leads to action.
Scripture
“Your word is a light for my path.” (Psalm 119:105)
Think about it
Do I listen to God’s word or just hear it?
What is one thing God might be asking me to change?
Action
Read one short Gospel verse today
and keep it in mind.
Prayer
Lord,
help Your word
take root in me.
Amen.
WEDNESDAY 25 FEBRUARY – Turning Back to God
Starting Again
Reflection
The people Jonah preached to were doing wrong,
but they chose to change.
God did not want to punish them.
He wanted to save them.
Repentance is not about feeling ashamed.
It is about choosing a new direction.
God never gets tired of forgiving.
We get tired of returning.
Scripture
“God saw what they did… and he forgave them.” (Jonah 3:10)
Think about it
What do I need to turn away from?
What would turning back to God look like for me?
Action
Say sorry to God today in your own words.
Prayer
Lord,
thank You for never giving up on me.
Amen.
THURSDAY 26 FEBRUARY – Asking God for Help
Trusting God with Fear
Reflection
Queen Esther was afraid.
Her people were in danger.
Instead of trusting her own power,
she trusted God.
Prayer does not remove all fear.
It changes who we rely on.
Faith is not pretending we are brave.
It is knowing we are not alone.
Scripture
“Ask and it will be given to you.” (Matthew 7:7)
Think about it
What worries me most right now?
Do I bring it to God or carry it alone?
Action
Pray today for something that frightens you.
Prayer
Lord,
help me trust You
when I feel afraid.
Amen.
FRIDAY 27 FEBRUARY – Choosing to Love
Reconciliation Instead of Anger
Reflection
Jesus links worship and relationships.
If we are angry or divided,
our prayer becomes empty.
God does not want perfect rituals
and broken hearts.
Forgiveness is not pretending nothing happened.
It is choosing peace over pride.
Reconciliation heals us
as much as it heals others.
Scripture
“First be reconciled.” (Matthew 5:24)
Think about it
Who am I holding anger against?
What would making peace look like?
Action
Make one step toward peace today
(even a small one).
Prayer
Lord,
teach me to forgive
as You forgive me.
Amen.
SATURDAY 28 FEBRUARY – Loving Everyone
Love Without Limits
Reflection
Jesus does not only tell us to love people who like us.
He tells us to love even those who hurt us.
This kind of love is not natural.
It comes from God.
Loving enemies does not mean trusting them.
It means refusing to let hatred rule us.
Christian love breaks cycles of anger.
Scripture
“Love your enemies.” (Matthew 5:44)
Think about it
Who do I find hardest to love?
What would love look like there?
Action
Pray today for someone you dislike.
Prayer
Lord,
give me a heart
like Yours.
Amen.
SUNDAY 1 MARCH – Second Sunday of Lent
Listen to Him
Reflection
On the mountain, the disciples see Jesus in glory.
They want to stay there.
But God says:
“This is my Son… listen to him.”
Faith is not about chasing special moments.
It is about daily obedience.
Jesus leads them down the mountain
back into ordinary life.
Real listening changes how we live
when life feels ordinary again.
Scripture
“This is my Son… listen to him.” (Matthew 17:5)
Think about it
Where do I hear Jesus speaking today?
What is He asking of me?
Action
Do one thing today
because Jesus teaches it.
Prayer
Lord,
teach me to listen
and to follow.
Amen.
