TEEN DAILY FAITH
3rd Week of Lent – Laetare Sunday
How to use this:
Spend 5–10 minutes a day.
Read slowly.
Answer one question honestly.
End with the prayer.
MONDAY – Obedience That Heals
Naaman Learns to Trust
Reflection
Naaman wanted God to heal him in an impressive way.
Instead, God asked him to wash in an ordinary river.
Naaman almost walked away because it felt too simple.
But when he obeyed, he was healed.
Faith often fails not because God is silent,
but because His way seems too small or too ordinary.
God’s power is not always dramatic.
Sometimes it works through humble obedience.
Scripture
“Go and wash… and you will be clean.” (2 Kings 5)
Think about it
Where do I want God to act in my way instead of His?
What would obedience look like in something small today?
Action
Do one thing today simply because you know it is right.
Prayer
Lord,
teach me to trust You
even when Your way seems ordinary.
Amen.
TUESDAY – Forgiven People Must Forgive
Mercy That Must Be Shared
Reflection
Azariah admits his people’s guilt but trusts God’s mercy.
Jesus tells a story of a man forgiven a huge debt
who then refuses to forgive someone else.
God’s mercy is meant to change us,
not stop with us.
If we refuse to forgive,
we trap ourselves in resentment.
Forgiveness does not say the hurt was small.
It says mercy is bigger.
Scripture
“Forgive your brother from your heart.” (Matthew 18:35)
Think about it
Whom do I struggle to forgive?
Do I really believe God has forgiven me?
Action
Pray today for someone who has hurt you.
Prayer
Lord,
make my heart
like Yours —
slow to anger and rich in mercy.
Amen.
WEDNESDAY – God’s Law Is for Life
Not Rules, but Relationship
Reflection
Moses tells the people to remember God’s commandments
and teach them to their children.
Jesus says He did not come to destroy the law
but to fulfil it.
God’s commandments are not there to trap us.
They show us how to live in freedom and truth.
When we forget God’s word,
we forget who we are.
Scripture
“Observe them carefully, for this is your wisdom.” (Deuteronomy 4:6)
Think about it
Do I see God’s commands as help or as limits?
Which one do I find hardest to follow?
Action
Read one commandment today and think about why it matters.
Prayer
Lord,
teach me Your ways
so that I may live in Your truth.
Amen.
THURSDAY – God’s Power Brings Freedom
Choosing to Believe
Reflection
Jesus frees a man who cannot speak.
Some people refuse to believe
and say His power comes from evil.
When God acts,
we must choose how to respond.
Faith is not just seeing miracles.
It is trusting what they mean.
Jesus does not free people just from illness,
but from the power of sin and lies.
To reject Him is not lack of evidence
but resistance of the heart.
Scripture
“If it is by the finger of God that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.” (Luke 11:20)
Think about it
Where do I resist God’s work in my life?
What stops me from trusting Him?
Action
Say today: “Jesus, I believe You are at work in me.”
Prayer
Lord,
help me recognise Your power
and accept Your freedom.
Amen.
FRIDAY – Loving God with the Whole Life
More Than Religion
Reflection
The prophet says God wants people to return to Him,
not just offer sacrifices.
Jesus says the greatest commandment
is to love God
and to love neighbour.
Faith is not just something we practise in church.
It is something we live at home, at school, and with friends.
God does not want performance.
He wants the heart.
Scripture
“Love the Lord your God… and love your neighbour.” (Mark 12:30–31)
Think about it
Where is my faith only words and not action?
Who needs love from me today?
Action
Do one loving thing today on purpose.
Prayer
Lord,
help me love You
with my whole life.
Amen.
SATURDAY – The Humble Heart
Honesty Before God
Reflection
One man boasts about being good.
Another admits his sin and asks for mercy.
Jesus says the second man goes home right with God.
God is not impressed by pretending.
He is moved by truth.
Humility is not thinking badly about yourself.
It is letting God see you as you are.
Scripture
“God, be merciful to me, a sinner.” (Luke 18:13)
Think about it
Do I hide my faults from God or bring them to Him?
What would honest prayer look like for me?
Action
Speak honestly to God about one weakness today.
Prayer
Lord,
give me a humble heart
that trusts Your mercy.
Amen.
SUNDAY – Laetare Sunday
From Darkness to Light
Reflection
Jesus heals a man born blind.
For the first time, he can see.
The man grows in faith as the story continues.
Others grow angry and closed.
Light does two things:
it shows the truth
and it reveals what we do not want to see.
Jesus is the light of the world.
To follow Him means letting Him change how we see.
Faith is not just seeing with our eyes,
but learning to see with trust.
Scripture
“I was blind and now I see.” (John 9:25)
Think about it
Where has Jesus helped me see differently?
What truth do I resist?
Action
Say today: “Jesus, help me walk in Your light.”
Prayer
Lord,
open my eyes
to Your truth
and lead me out of darkness.
Amen.
