Today we give thanks to God for all fathers, grandfathers, godfathers, and those who have shown a father’s care and guidance in our lives.
Fatherhood is a great vocation and a precious gift. Through their love, sacrifice, hard work, and example, fathers help to shape families and communities, reflecting something of the faithful love of our Heavenly Father.
On this Father’s Day, we pray for all fathers: that they may be strengthened in their responsibilities, blessed with wisdom and patience, and supported in the important task of nurturing and guiding those entrusted to their care.
We remember too those fathers who have died, those separated from their children, those who long to be fathers, and all who find this day difficult. May they know the Lord’s comfort, peace, and love.
As a parish family, we thank all fathers for their generosity and dedication, and we ask God’s blessing upon them today and always.
Heavenly Father, bless all fathers and help them to lead their families in faith, hope, and love. Amen.
