Brothers and sisters, invited by the Lord to His heavenly banquet, let us bring our prayers before Him with confidence.
Reader:
For the holy Catholic Church, for the Pope, our Bishop, and all bishops, priests and deacons: that they may faithfully call God’s people to holiness and help them remain clothed in the grace of Christ.
Lord, hear us.
For the nations of the world and those entrusted with authority: that they may seek what is just and good, remembering the dignity and eternal destiny of every human person.
Lord, hear us.
For all who have received the invitation of faith but have drifted from prayer, the Mass or the Sacraments: that they may hear again the call of Christ and return with confidence to His friendship.
Lord, hear us.
For those burdened by suffering, anxiety, poverty or loneliness: that Christ may strengthen them, as He strengthened Saint Paul, and keep them faithful in every circumstance.
Lord, hear us.
For our deceased relatives, friends and benefactors, and for all the faithful departed: that, purified from every sin, they may be welcomed to the eternal banquet where death is destroyed and every tear is wiped away.
Lord, hear us.
Priest:
In a moment of silence, we bring before God the intentions we carry in our hearts.
Silence.
Let us ask the prayers of Our Blessed Lady as we say together:

Almighty and merciful Father, You call us to the wedding feast of Your Son and clothe us with His grace. Hear the prayers we make before You, keep us faithful to Christ throughout this life, and bring us at last to the joy of Your eternal banquet. Through Christ our Lord.
